B. Kliban was a very successful artist in the 70’s and 80’s. His most famous character was a black striped tabby cat.  The humor was edgy for the time and it appealed to a number of people. This cat embellished many different items including linens, kitchen decor, books, posters, figurines, and home decor.

I remember using my birthday money to get a set of four of his posters back in the 70’s after receiving a comforter with the cats all over it. I LOVED THOSE CATS!  Many people still collect these items and are willing to pay some good money for them.  Most of these range from $25.00 -$150.00 depending on the item and condition.

Great! I just passed on a pair of sheets with Kliban in the thrift store the other day! I am always a dollar short and a day late!
