I’ve got a few things up now. The only one that has flipped so far this week was a pair of men’s 2XU Triathlon Shorts which sold at a BIN price of $36.99 (I paid $3.99). The Dale Of Norway Sweater is at $30 (I paid $5) with another day to go. The Versace Tie is at $16 (I paid $2). The Burberry Polo shirt is at $25 (I paid $8) with 6 days to go…

It’s shaping up pretty good! This new hobby is certainly paying for all the new clothes I’ve had to buy because of recent weight loss. ; )

My best flip last week was a set of 12 plastic tip trays featuring the 12 months with French words and maidens in gardens. They sold for 49.01 + shipping and were part of a box lot I purchased at the flea market. After dividing what I got for what I paid, the set was probably about a dollar! Yay! I also flipped a nice afghan for 39.95 + shipping that cost me less than $5.00! Pretty good week after a slow month or so.

Regular Sales at least, and usually lots of sales at the end of the month with a discounted Store Sale, but not this month–Bummer! Doc Martens Wms “Yolanda” Boots $49(paid $5), Franco Sarto dotted zip cross body travel bag/purse $26 (2.50), Ed Hardy/Christian Audigier Men’s Tee $24(3), and finally sold a Coach Black Leather and Wool Herringbone Tote Purse for $63–paid only $1 at a moving sale. All these went w/ Free Shipping. And be very careful about selling only authentic designer bags–I learned a lot by reading up on the internet and eBay guides, as I was afraid it was a fake Coach…now I can pretty much verify them at the store!

I have to admit that I’m a little disappointed with the $36 that the DON sweater went for… What kind of world do we live in when an awesome Norwegian wool sweater goes for less than a South Park cycling jersey (I sold a jersey I bought 5 years ago for $42)? Don’t people value quality anymore?

That’s why I don’t think i’d ever auction a Dale of Norway sweater, especially this time of year.
I’ve moved away from auctions and do mainly Fixed Price, or Fixed Price with Best Offer.
I would’ve popped a high price on that baby and waited for the right buyer.
      $36 is way too low.
I’ve always wanted to find a DON sweater…someday!!

I chalk it up as a lesson learned… I’m doing the BIN thing with the Aran Sweater I found. Since Patrick’s Day is coming up, someone is bound to want one…

On the brighter side, the Burberry Polo shirt is at $46, and the Versace Tie ended up going for $34. Since those two represent $10 worth of investment for me, that’s not bad.

And oh boy, did I make up for it today… ; )

Not sure I want to list the Burberry suit I found today, as it fits me perfectly… The J Crew mohair/wool sport coat will likely get listed once I can figure out exactly what it is…

Incredibly I found two Dale of Norway sweaters this past week at Goodwill for $5.00 each. Have been going to fixed price in my store and if free auctions are offered by Ebay, I start at the minimum price I would like to receive. I enjoy everyone’s comments and learn so much from them! Carol

I’d love to see those listings when you’ve got them up. I need to learn from the pros. ; )
