  1. I love to follow you blog and thoroughly enjoy your thrifting blog digest posts. Thanks for featuring my Thick Skin to Sell Online? post. I hope it can encourage others to not feel like they are the only ones who have this happen to them. I love selling online and almost all of the people are wonderful, but I do wonder why there are those people out there that feel they can do and say anything behind the anonimity of the internet? I have not had any resolution and it looks like I will lose all of the money. I have to admit, that I still have not recovered my zeal for doing this. Going to keep plugging away and hope the passion to return soon.

Glad to have linked! It was a good post….

Definitely don’t let it get to you. I set a mental quota in my head each of year of 10 bad experiences. I’ve never reached that many…but when I do…I’ll allow myself to feel bad. Up to that point…I’m like any other business working with the public. You never know what kind of customer you are going to get. And there are…all…kinds. Thankfully…most are the good kind.

Hang out at a Walmart customer service area….or watch carefully at a restaurant. There are many people that make jobs harder….and it’s nothing personal. They just get something out of it.

Reread your positive feedbacks….THAT’S what kind of business owner you are. One person does not define you…nor should they make you feel bad.

The person you dealt with sounds like they did not have good social or interpersonal skills….and that’s on them.

Hang in there. We all get them at one time or another. It’s just part of doing business. But it’s the yucky part. 🙂
