Flippin’ Friday-#83

Welcome to Flippin’ Friday!  A place to see what people are buying….and what they are flipping!

Last week, we hear stories about a 1998 New Scooby-Doo Twin flat sheet , a new, large black patent handbag-look insulated lunch bag , New The Simpsons kids slumber bag ,a Large Nine West jacquard Tote bag , aTignanello ocean blue zip wallet, Dansko Mary Jane sandal clogs, a White Mountain Freezer-6 Quart Hand Crank ice cream maker,  and a LeapFrog Multiplication Twist and Shout toy.

What great flips everyone! Thank you for sharing your finds!

If you have a great flip you’d like to share, just write it in the comments section below! We love reading them! Just be sure to include your item, what you paid, and what it sold for in the end.

Looking for more great flips? Check out some more great Flippin’ Fridays here and all the great things to look for under “The List” at the top.  And I always keep my list too at the top under “Flips”!

  1. My flip of the week…..New Betula Birkenstock Germany Navy Blue Sandals EU 39 USA Size 8 Bought at local thrift for $1 sold for $41.01 plus shipping. http://properlyvintaged.blogspot.com/2012/04/say-it-with-me-birkenstock.html

Last week at a rummage sale I bought a silk Liberty of London scarf for 2 dollars (it had tags on it, but it doesn’t matter). I sold it that night (ebay) for 45.00. Last year I had a huge one I sold over night for 75.00. Always be looking out for Liberty of London, if it’s under 5 and in good shape grab it (if otherwise, make sure you feel comfortable with the brand before paying more, personally, I’d go up to 20.00)

Bought Dallas: Complete First and Second Seasons DVDs at an estate sale for $1, watched it w/ my hubby who somehow missed it back in the early ’80s, sold BIN on eBay for $18.45 w/ free shipping. Now we have season 3 in our Netflix queue!

Had two great ones this week. Have been on the lookout for both and finally found and sold in under a week. The first was a talking Alf doll/toy. Bought for $3 and sold for $59.99 + shipping and the second was a Little Einsteins Pat Pat Rocket (just the rocket, no figures for it but it did have the often missing lid) – bought for $3 and sold for $49.99 plush shipping.

Another item I knew nothing about and would never have known to buy until I read it on here on LNC. Keen sandals. Found 3 pairs at a garage sale for $1.00 each, have sold 2 of them for $40.00 each and am sure the third pair will also sell for close to $40.00. Love those sandals! $120.00 off of a $3.00 investment, I’ll take that flip any day!
