Pumpkin flavored goodies are really popular these days. One other popular “pumpkin” goodie is the vintage pumpkin pie spice tin.

These tins came out in the 60’s and 70’s and are commanding between $20-$50 on Ebay. There are various brands of the spice, but if there’s a pumpkin on the front, chances are it’s going to sell easily.

It would definitely pay to research “vintage pumpkin pie spice tin” to see the various brands, as well as “vintage spice tin” for other spices as well.

Check out those cupboards at estate sales and boxes o’ stuff at flea markets. Those are perfect areas to find them.

And that’s a fact…Jack!

Great tip! Another reason to elbow my way through the crowded kitchen at those estate sales.

Doggone it, my dad just told me they threw away the spices that were in my centenarian grandmother’s kitchen! I can’t imagine the treasures that are probably in the landfill.
