I did. In the early 70’s. I actually had several. My parents were big Fritos fans. I even accidentally dropped one down into the abyss of Meramac Caverns while on vacation with my family.  That was heartbreaking.

What is it? Why, it’s a Frito Bandito eraser. They were advertising giveaways inside bags of Fritos back in the 70’s. And these little guys are selling between $10-$50 a piece on Ebay. And they have a fantastic sell-through rate.

So check out those desk drawers at estate sales and clear bags filled with miscellaneous toys at your thrift stores. You may find one staring back at you!

I “corn” see you finding one now!

Wow – I am absolutely sure that I had one of these when I was in elementary school. I still love Fritos, and now I live in the city where they were invented – San Antonio! Thanks for the “blast from the past”!
