paid 0 for a pack of sense orange crush drink mix–supposed to give you energy and help you lose weight–was given a box to try–the flavor was horrid! listed it and sold it for 24.99!!

    My two most recent flips…

Apparently, I’m beginning to specialize in men’s fashions. Ties often get overlooked at the thrifts –I keep finding gems.

Tubbs Snowshoes -$40 (paid $10) (Craigslist)
Brooks Brothers Red Silk Tie w/ Karate Squirrels -$30 (paid $2) (Ebay)

Okay, those Ermenegildo Zegna Men’s oxfords in which we found the NWT belt sold for $199 with free shipping. So our $50 investment yielded $199 for the shoes + $49.95 for the belt – not bad. Yay! And just in time for Christmas!
Also sold a case of Kenmore sewing machine cams that were given to me free for the asking at an estate sale last spring – $9.95 plus shipping.
My husband has me selling his pre-owned combat boots. Some he was issued and never wore, some a friend gave to him. The first pair went for $20.50 plus shipping – not a lot but we had no investment in them. Additionally, I sold an old textbook of his (copyright 2001) for $46.25 plus shipping. Apparently it is still the textbook of choice for that course – Electronic Warfare 101. Sounds thrilling, doesn’t it?

My best flips for December included a womens vintage Ralph Lauren Polo tribel print cardigan sweater, paid $2.00 (gs) sold for $90.00, also sold 3 Powerpuff girls talking dolls, found Bubbles and Buttercup at a garage sale this summer for .50 each, then found Blossom (new in box!) at an antique mall a few weeks back for $2.00. Sold all 3 in a lot for $100.00! Lastly, sold a vintage aluminum Mirro Cake and Pastry decorating press (still in orginal sealed box) that I got at GW for $2.99, sold for $39.99. Lots of other little flips but those are the good ones that stand out 🙂 Merry Christmas!
