Flippin’ Friday-#119

flippinfridayWelcome to Flippin’ Friday! This is the place to let us all know of those great flips you have had with your treasures!

Last week, we had flips stories about an Arnold Print Works bunny, an American Girl dog, a 1985 Pound Puppy, a set of four small Bodum coffee cups, a Feathered Friends down parka and down pants, Golfknickers.com Plus Four Golf Kickers, and a Thomas Pink dress shirt.

Thanks Mike and Laura for sharing those great flips!

If you have a great flip you’d like to share, just write it in the comments section below! We love reading them! Just be sure to include your item, what you paid, and what it sold for in the end.

Looking for more great flips? Check out some more great Flippin’ Fridays here and all the great things to look for under “The List” at the top (which is still a work in progress).  And I always keep my list too at the top under “Flips”!

    Got my first three-figure flip!

I bought a Sierra Designs down jacket for $50 and sold it for $150. It sold within 24 hours of listing… It’s off to a loving home in Utah. This sort of made up for the $65 I spent to get a nice down jacket for myself from someone else who had thrifted it. ; )

Man, I wish the local thrifts sold stuff that cheap!

I’ve listed some high-zoot stuff this week, we’ll see what happens!

I had one more good one over the weekend: a Ralph Lauren Purple Tie that went for $53, which I paid 99 cents for!

I hear you on the PayPal comment, Laura. Mine is going through the roof. Which is good, because we have trips to plan for and pay for! ; )

Mike, I’m enjoying reading about your flips and stalking your blog – I’m learning a lot about men’s clothing from you. I picked up a couple of vintage Pendleton board shirts at an estate sale the other day upon remembering that you had written about them. Haven’t got them listed yet, but I will be back with the results soon – I hope!

  5. laura says:

    me too!! hahhaha

  6. Mike says:

If you find any medium board shirts, give me first crack… ; )
