Foil, Hearts, and a GREAT week!

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

I apologize for my delay this morning….I was “room mothering” my son’s preschool Valentine’s Day party.  This means I am typing with one eye as I have a migraine coming on, my energy level had absolutely no bars, and it will be a miracle if I don’t end up with some kind of plague by the end of the week.  My son THOROUGHLY enjoyed himself…so totally worth it. But enough about me.

DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!!!!! The winner of the fantabulous aluminum foil craft book from this post is…………Jessica!!!  Clapclapclapclapclapclap! Congratulations on your prize and thank you for your great story about the games you flipped! And thank you everyone for your great stories…WOWZERS! I sure have learned more this week!

FINALLY …this week I found some cool stuff.  I was getting a little disappointed with the selections I was coming home with…but not this week.

First, these great cheery vintage sheets still in the package!  Perfect for spring! I think these will go pretty quickly!

I found these fun, vintage hors’doeuvres  picks from 1964. They have a neat “Tiki look” to them. They are missing the lid…but I think that’ll be okay.

This was a great find.A huge lot of the now “defunct” Victoria magazine.  These were 25 cents each..well worth it. I can put these with the issues I already have for a good-selling lot.

I also found a lot of Magic Tree House books and some Sweet Pickles books. I am going to keep these and wait until I have a large lot of each before I sell.

And then my favorite library’s bookstore was culling their “Arts and Crafts” section. This is just a small portion of the books I  found…all were $1 or $2.

I picked a great day to go there!

And finally, I picked up this cute sewing pattern. I bought it because it was uncut and unusual.  Upon doing some research, I found out this pattern designer, McKenna Ryan, is very sought after.  If you ever see one of her patterns, pick them up…they can bring quite a bit…especially her kits.

That’s all I have!  Want to see more fun finds? Visit Apron Thrift Girl’s blog today for what people found this past week!

Those are great finds! I found some similar picks last week; they’re pretty cool. Love the Victoria magazine find. That’s pretty amazing!

Ack! Wow! I should buy a lottery ticket with this great luck; because what are the odds of winning twice? Do you want to redraw for a new winner who hasn’t won in the past? Because, you know, I haven’t finished all the fabulous crafts in the last one you sent me. 😉

Thanks again for your great blog. I also found a great vintage sheet in package lately I have ending tomorrow. Also a vintage stitch kit, new in package. I have been putting off getting a eBay store, but they keep offering free listing specials that keep me coming back.

Good for you for being room mom for the Valentine’s Party. My poor eldest was sick and missed the one in her classroom, but there is always next year. My son didn’t even want to pass out Valentines, that boy thing starts so early.

    • I totally forgot Jessica had won before…but that’s how we roll here at Late Night Coffee. The name my son pulls out of “the bowl” is the name that wins!

I think it may be a sign that you need to start making horrible crafts.
